Abdul Karim: State 11MP, a very thorough plan

KUCHING: Sarawak is one of the states that has its own five-year plan which is what makes it different from other states in the country, said Assistant Minister of Youth Development, Datuk Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah. 

“Following what has been presented by the Chief Minister for the Sarawak 11th Malaysia Plan (11MP), it looks to be a very thorough plan. 

“It also shows that the state government plans on developing the state for another five years, following what has been prepared by the 11MP,” he told reporters after the presentation of the Sarawak 11MP during a special sitting at the State Legislative Assembly here yesterday. 

Meanwhile, Karim, who is also Assistant Minister of Housing said that there has been no decision yet on preparations for the state election. “I am not sure on what will happen but we are always prepared. The Samarahan area can also be considered as Barisan Nasional (BN) stronghold,” he pointed out.
