April 25, 2017

KUCHING: Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah has condemned the insulting joke on the name of Watson Nyambek’s father by Azizul Ammar Abu Hassan the host of TV3’s ‘Sukan Tak Sentral’.

When asked by reporters to comment on the controversy after attending a meeting at the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) headquarters, Jalan Bako here yesterday, Abdul Karim said Ammar’s act was very rude and insensitive especially in a multiracial country.

However, he hoped the issue would not drag on and that all parties involved could resolve the matter.

“If the matter can be resolved internally, then I hope they do so.

What the television station did was unacceptable but it has happened and they should find a way to settle the matter.”

Biadab, kurang ajar, tidak sensitif – Karim Hamzah

April 23, 2017
