We had the privilege of having a briefing session with our Right Honourable Premier of Sarawak on the year 2024 tourism plans and initiatives. The briefing was organised by Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP) and supported by Sarawak Tourism Board (STB).
Also present during the briefing was YB Datuk Snowdan Lawan, our Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak together with Datu Sherrina Haji Hussaini, Permanent Secretary to MTCP and Sharzede Datu Salleh Askor, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of STB as well as Amelia Roziman, CEO of Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak).
Among the matters that were presented and discussed were on our responsible tourism initiatives and ways to attract quality tourists coming into Sarawak, Our esteemed Premier had mentioned that Sarawak is on the track in attracting premium tourists who are willing to spend their money for a good vacation outside the comfort of their home countries.
