Our appreciation to the editorial team from Malaysia's National News Agency (BERNAMA) who came all the way to Kuching from Kuala Lumpur yesterday in order to interview me on the forthcoming Malaysia Games (SUKMA).
Our media friends from BERNAMA had also inquired the gold medals forecast for Sarawak in the 21st edition of SUKMA and I had reveal that it is being finalised but will be announced soon.
This year's SUKMA had created much a buzz among our media fraternity because it is the largest to be organised in the country with 37 different types of sports and games to be held in 9 different locations in Sarawak.
The positive spin off from one-week long games will also boost our tourism sector with thousands of athletes who will be travelling to Sarawak together with their coaches, contingents' officials and supporters consisting of family members and friends.
