It was a busy weekend but still an exciting one!

We had a busy weekend and the itinerary include visits to our famous Bako National Park and the nearby Pulau Lakei which are now open to the public in view of Malaysia entering its Phase 3 of National Recovery Plan or NRP.

I have urged our local folks to visit tourists attractions and recreational spots such as national parks, hills and forests in Sarawak because of the reopening of the country's tourism and culture sectors.

Hence, people should take the opportunity to go to these places with their friends and families because by visiting (these places) or being involved in healthy activities such as hiking and mountain-climbing, it can bring joy to ourselves. I also mentioned that these activities also help broaden our minds and views on the state’s natural beauty. Apart from that, by visiting these places, it could help develop the areas because the folks living in these areas can open their stalls and this, in turn, can develop the local economy.

I have also reminded visitors to help us in maintaining the cleanliness of the places they visited because it is our responsibility to take care of mother nature that must be preserved and conserved not only for the present generation but also for generations to come.
