All the best to our Sarawakian "Badang" who will be competing in 31 SEA Games, Hanoi Vietnam

All the best to our three Sarawakians "Badang" who were selected for the national bodybuilding squad in the 31st SEA Games to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam. The trio are namely Dr Malvern Abdullah and Buda Achah of Kuching while Azri Asmat Sefri is from Miri. They will be joining the rest of the team in Kuala Lumpur before leaving for Hanoi tomorrow. Thank you to our Kuching South Mayor, Dato Wee Hong Seng, who is also Sarawak Bodybuilding Association president for the courtesy visit to my office recently.  He was also there for the state flag handing over ceremony to Dr Malvern who represented the athletes. All the best to Buda Achah who will compete in the Men’s Lightweight (70kg) category and also in the Mixed Pairs category while Azri will perform in Men’s Light Flyweight (55kg) category, while Malvern will give fight in the Men’s Bantamweight (65kg) and also in the Mixed Pairs categories.
